His career spans from Cleveland to Hilton Head Island, drawing inspiration from his Polish grandmother’s cooking, which instilled a deep appreciation for hearty, comforting flavors.

Julia shares Chad’s passion for the culinary arts and community engagement. Together, they decided it was time to take the plunge and transform Tillman’s Village Inn into Tavern on the Ridge. They were driven by a desire to create a place that feels like home for the community.

Chad is the head chef, bringing over 20 years of experience to the kitchen. His team consists of longtime friends who share his passion for creating a cohesive and dynamic menu.
